The Predator Workout

Today’s workout is all about being able to track down your goals regardless of your situation. Being a predator is all about hunting and in today’s workout I’m going to teach you how to hunt for new and innovative ways to stress your body for a top notch workout without the need for a fully stocked gym. This is about innovation. This is about hunting!

The Predator Workout

Warm Up:

Rolling “V” Stretch: 5

A Skips: 15 R&L Legs

B Skips: 15 R&L Legs

Kettlebell Static Groin Stretch: 10 With A Pause At The Bottom Of Goblet squat

Shoulder Warm Up: Palms To Face; Palms To Head–15 R&L Arms

Agility, Upper And Lower Body Power:

Jump Rope Alternating Skips: 2×3 Minute Rounds

Jump Rope High Knees: 2×30 Each Leg

8 Cone Acceleration Drill: 3 (Note: If cones aren’t available you can substitute other markers such as chalk marks, bottles, bottle caps, coins, etc. All you need is 8 markers. Additionally a single rep is counted when you advance fully in both directions.

Agility Cone 3 Cone Lateral High Knees: 3×10 (Note: Once again if cones aren’t available then you can find other substitutes to use for markers. Also notice that with these the most outside leg is only touching the ground on the most outside cone kind of like a Heisman trophy pose.)

Squat Jumps: 3×10

Burpees: 3×10

Pull Ups: 3×8

Hindu Push Ups: 3×8

Seated Lumbar Rotations: 3×6 (Right and left sides)

Farmer’s Walks: 3 trips of 30 paces using a challenging weight in each hand. (Note: If you don’t have access to heavy dumbbells or kettle bells simply substitute a heavy pair of rocks, luggage, or heavy bags of garbage. Resistance is resistance. If you don’t have access to any of these simply hold your body in an upright push up position by doing so up on your fingertips. If you can do push ups like this that would be great, but if not simply hold yourself in the upright position for a couple of 1 minute timed intervals.)
