The ‘Ole Treadmill Killer…Athletic Performance Conditioning
There are so many days that go by where I hear people talking about getting in their “cardio” on the ‘ole treadmill, or by going out to take a nice stroll around the block. Don’t get me wrong this type of physical activity is fantastic and is certainly better than being stagnant. I’m NOT belittling that type of activity at all and if you know me well enough by now then you know that I’m being honest when I say that.
The Athletic Performance Type Of Conditioning…
Now having said that about the treadmill type of cardio I’m more directing this towards those certain individuals that have a more “meathead” mentality when it comes to training and believe that their progress in the gym is kicking the ass of everyone else around them when in fact they have no clue about what real cardio conditioning is all about. You know the folks that I’m talking about. I’m talking about the guy who thinks his name should be Google because he knows it all. Yes, that guy.
