I am always joking and also serious about reminding my clients and friends NOT to get stupid with their training. Yes, I had my dose of smart ass today and now I'm taking it out on the folks that try to flood their training sessions with too much. It seems that the craze for a lot of trainers,coaches, and trainees in some environments today is that more is better! This usually results in the mindset that more hours in the gym, more exercises to implement, and more difficult to perform drills should be implemented. Don't get me wrong I love new and innovative things, but when it comes to the programming of your strength and conditioning program you, your coach, or your trainer shouldn't lose site of what is practical! So what is practical? No, that is not a stupid question. Keep on reading.
